Pam started out working in the NHS as a biomedical student in pharmacy but after meeting a team of midwifes knew this was the job for her. She was seconded into a role where she was able to retrain as a midwife with the University of Hertfordshire.
Pam and other midwifes help support parents from the start of a pregnancy until the baby or babies have been born and are ready to go home. If you are looking for a career where no two days are the same this could be for you.
