This exciting virtual 36 week programme is created in partnership with the academy and St John ambulance service covering a wide range of careers, skills, experiences and opportunities.

Are you interested in a career in health or social care?
Yes, then register to attend our free virtual NHS cadetship programme. During the 36 weeks (term time only) programme students will hear about some of the 350 careers in health and social care including nursing, midwifery, mental health, medicine, IT, sport science, Physiotherapy, HR and recruitment, Allied Health Professions (AHPs) and many more.
We are running the following the programmes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings between 5:30-7:30pm for students aged 14-18 years.
Foundation programme for students aged 14-16 years
During the foundation programme we aim to support the you to undertake a volunteering experience. This means that we are not expecting you to take on any long term opportunities but instead to have a short experience into what local healthcare providers could offer.
Advanced programme for students aged 16-18 years
During the advanced programme, we hope that you will take a volunteering or work placement opportunity within a healthcare setting. There is no time restrictions, however we hope you will find it fulfilling ensuring you gain vital skills and experience for a longer term future in healthcare.
